With world-class beaches on the doorstep, you may be tempted away from all the goings-on of the lake, whether you like paddle in the surf of a sandy cove, dive around the dunes or sniff out the lobster pots of the harbour towns. There is also the beauty of the Helford Passage to explore with riverbanks and dog-friendly pubs to please both you and the dog.

Did someone say the ‘W’ word? Of course our location in south west Cornwall is surrounded by beautiful beaches that dogs can run around on, but there is also the hundreds of miles of wonderful walkies around the South West Coast Path. Porthleven to Lizard Point is a particular favourite to be done in a day, with jaw dropping views from England’s most southerly point taking you along the coast to the foodie hub harbour. Wherever you choose to spend your holiday days, we’ve made sure that you and your pet will be catered for in our purpose-built, dog friendly houses and cabins with hot tubs.

All our self catering holiday cottages around the lake have the luxury of underfloor heating so your dog will be happy to flop on any floor for a much-needed rest from the pier-jumping, splish-splashing fun. So while you slink off into the hot tub of an evening, your pooch won’t want to move apart, perhaps, from the occasional contented wag of the tail.
