Outdoor Activities

We know that you will have hours of fun with our accessible watersports activities here at Trevassack Holidays but if you would like to venture out and about, here are some ideas to get you holiday planning.

Horse Riding

Old Mill Riding Stables

Old Mill Riding Stables (less than 40 minutes) offers riding lessons to children of all experience levels and abilities. In addition to teaching and rides on the farm, Old Mill also provides riders with trips on horseback across the surrounding moors. Old Mill proudly serves as the base for the South West Cornwall Group, Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA).

Newton Equestrian

At Newton Equestrian qualified staff ensure that if you have never been on a horse before, or perhaps are a little rusty, or simply want to expand on your riding skills, they can happily help you to achieve your goals or overcome your fears.

Newton Equestrian is just a 5 minute drive away from Trevassack Holidays and are fortunate to have a number of countryside areas for hacking out and just 15-30 minutes’ ride away from two fabulous sandy coves for the ultimate beach riding experience (for intermediate riders age 12 years and over only).
