SELF-CATERING HOLIDAYS AT TREVASSACK LAKE

Accessible Holiday Funding & Bursary Support

Planning an accessible holiday can feel overwhelming, especially when cost becomes a barrier. At Trevassack Holidays, we want every family, carer and individual to enjoy a fully inclusive break in Cornwall.

To help make that possible, we’ve created this directory of charities, trusts, and funding organisations that offer grants for accessible holidays, disability holiday bursaries, and financial support for specialist breaks in the UK and these independent organisations may be able to help with funding towards a stay at Trevassack Holidays.

PLEASE NOTE: Each has its own criteria and applications must be made directly to the funder.

Funding Partners & Grant Providers

We are currently building partnerships with charities and organisations that support:

Children and adults with physical disabilities
Individuals with sensory needs, learning disabilities or complex needs
Families of children with SEND
Carers seeking respite breaks
People requiring hoists, profiling beds or other accessible equipment on holiday

As new funders confirm they are able to support stays at Trevassack Holidays, we will add them here. Each partner will be listed with clear eligibility information and application links so you can find the right support easily.

Why Funders Recommend Trevassack Holidays

Trevassack Holidays is a not-for-profit, fully accessible holiday destination operated by Children’s Sailing Trust. Our site combines luxury, purpose-built accommodation with accessible lakeside activities and specialist facilities including:

• Step-free site with purpose-built lodges and adapted cabins
• Onsite hoists, profiling beds and Changing Places facilities
• Free use of specialist accessibility equipment
• SEND-trained and disability-confident day staff (not carers or medical staff)
• Accessible sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding and water confidence sessions
• Discounts on watersports for all holiday guests

Because we reinvest every booking into our charitable work, funders can be confident that support for a guest also helps expand life-changing water-based programmes for disabled and disadvantaged children across the UK.
